El-Mina Wreck

The El Mina wreck near Hurghada has turned into a great aquatic habitat for glassfish, hunted by lionfish and jackfish. Excellent photo opportunities, sloping from 25 meters under the bow to 32 meters at the stern.
Sha’ab Claudia

Sha’ab Claudia is a cluster of coral pinnacles and plateaus directly in front of Hamata, southern Egypt’s coastal resort. It is well-known among divers for being one of the most spectacular reefs of the Fury Shoals.

Sataya Reef

Shaab Sataya, also known as the Dolphin Reef is located at the south-eastern tip of the Fury Shoal diving area off Marsa Alam. This horseshoe shaped reef has been aptly named after the friendly mammals that can be spotted regularly on site.
Corals

Corals come in vast and confusing number of sizes, shapes and colours. Same species are easily confused due to their divergent shapesm so we including close-ups of a few of the less obvious species to make identification easier.
St. John’s Reefs

St. John’s is the southernmost group of islands and reefs in Egypt’s Red Sea, and very close to the border with Sudan. The remote location means that no day-trip boats go there, and only a few liveaboards do. Therefore, not only are you likely to be the only boat at each dive site, shy species of marine life aren’t scared away by crowds of divers and boat noise. The sea conditions are excellent, with great visibility all year round and slightly warmer sea temperatures than further north.
Rocky Island

A locally-famous island known by scuba divers as one that offers among the best diving in The Red Sea, Rocky Island is the southernmost off-shore island in Egypt, lying 60-70 kilometres from the coast, out in the Red Sea. This tiny uninhabited island gets some shelter from Zabargad (6 km to the northwest).

Zabargad Island

Still one of Egypt’s best-kept secrets, Zabargad Island is a jewel in The Red Sea. It’s located in the far south of Egypt’s coastline, near to the border with Sudan. It has several world-class dive sites, a wreck, and currently very few liveaboard dive boats are there each day. The remote location ensures for some excellent diving with special species.
