Il est c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pour son \u00e9pave, connue sous le nom de Gubal Barge ou l&rsquo;\u00e9pave de Bluff Point, qui a coul\u00e9 pendant la guerre entre l&rsquo;\u00c9gypte et Isra\u00ebl en 1973. Les seiches et les poulpes sont des visiteurs nocturnes, tout comme un nombre incroyable de crevettes qui sont facilement rep\u00e9rables la nuit car leurs yeux refl\u00e8tent les lumi\u00e8res des torches.
